Quick Regional Moment Tensors, or QRCMTs, are centroid moment tensors computed rapidly
after an earthquake occurred in Euro-Mediterranean region and with a magnitude at least
4.5. For Italy we lower this thresold to 4.0 when possible. The computation method is
the same used to update RCMT European-Mediterranean
Catalog (Ardvisson and Ekstrom, 1998; Pondrelli et al., 2011 and references therein).
Starting from 2011, all QRCMTs solutions are pubblished on this web
page and included in the
RCMT Web Search Page.
A description of the used procedure of computation of QRCMT can be found in Pondrelli et al.,
2012 (Annals of Geophysics, vol. 55, n.4)
